VRiMS courses bring together hands-on cadaveric dissection, consultant level surgical training with integration of extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) in medical and surgical education.

Our approach is designed to make advanced medical and surgical training more efficient by combining cutting edge approaches in new technology- combining AI with immersive l technology.​

Led by senior consultants, professors, and international specialists, our programmes enable trainees to refine their technical skills, deepen anatomical understanding, and observe complex procedures in a focused and supportive environment.​

Every teaching session utilises high-definition 360° recording technology utilised in a variety of ways including
  • stand alone access on virtual reality headsets, tablets and mobile phones
  • in person synchronised virtual reality
  • remote synchronised virtual reality
  • interactive virtual reality
  • 6 degrees of freedom with digitally created immersive experiences

Managing Surgical Complications in Dentoalveolar & Dental Implant Surgery

Delivered by VRiMS in collaboration with Dentsply Sirona, this hands-on cadaveric training course integrates Extended Reality (XR) to enhance learning and spatial understanding.

Participants will gain direct experience in the management of complex surgical complications including:

  • Maxillary sinus and floor of mouth displacement

  • Oroantral communication management

  • Surgical emphysema

  • Bone grafting and connective tissue techniques

  • Control of bleeding and infection

  • Advanced local flap procedures
